Golden obsidian, also known as gold sheen obsidian, is volcanic glass that has a gold colored iridescent sheen, produced from tiny gas bubbles aligned across the layers while the molten lava is still flowing. The phenomenon produces a gold toned chatoyancy when the stone is polished. This pendant is carved in the shape of a wolf fang, with wolf head carved in intricate detail at the top and tapering into the characteristic fang shape towards the bottom, finely polished to highlight the iridescence of the stone. The pendant is suspended from a dark mahogany unadorned braided cord with celtic knot detail, a simple design that will match any wardrobe. The wolf and fang motifs are traditionally quite strong and empowering symbols, so wear with caution. Also comes in a his-her set of both sizes.
